Looking for a weekend activity? This is a great event and the admission is FREE.
The African American Museum in Philadelphia is hosting a Grand Opening-Juneteenth Celebration on Friday, June 19, 2009 as well as the opening of the exhibit "Audacious Freedom-African Americans in Philadelphia 1776-1876.". Admission to the museum is FREE, from 11AM-4PM.
From June 20-21, the museum will feature Family Fun Days from 11:00AM-4PM; admission is FREE.
