When I was pregnant and juggling one child, it was easy to workout while pregnant. This meant going to the gym at least 2 to 3 times a week. Now with two kids it is difficult to stay motivated and my level of snacking has increased dramatically. Then there is the mommy guilt of leaving the kids in a gym playroom for longer than a 1/2 hour. I think the snacking is a stress reliever(I know I should find something else). The most annoying part of not dropping the "baby weight" is to see celebrities who gained double my pregnancy weight and the featured in a massive photo spread looking amazing. Then I return(after I slap myself) to reality and say these women do not live the typical life of a "working mom". Yes, if only I had a personal trainer to show up at my house and a personal chef - I would be doing cart wheels through my house and ultra fabulous..... I have come to the realization that maintaining a healthy lifestyle is a life long journey and the ride may get a little bumpy-stop to enjoy it nonetheless!!!! Gym tomorrow? Absolutely!!!!
