"Simplify My Life" - A Chance to win an HP Mini 110!

After being downsized, I started to construct a plan to reinvent myself. In the past 8 months, I have immersed myself in everything related to the internet from surfing on interesting topics related to health, beauty, kid's stuff, and companies; employment networking sites, venturing onto Twitter(definitely stepped outside of my box on this one), and lastly blogging about my life as a mommy.

My two little ones consume most of my free time outside of my designated bedtime.

The lack of organizing household and personal tasks can definitely use an overhaul. This is my yet to be organized stack of weekly mail, need I say more?

My current laptop is an archaeic piece of technology compared to this sleek and compact jewel of techie heaven. When I have to transport my current laptop downstairs to prepare dinner, it feels so cumbersome with the oversized keyboard and screen. Someone who has a sleeker model asked "why did you decide to get a laptop with such a large screen?" The package price from the electronics store was in my ball park, thank you very much! This comment made me feel so embarrassed about my oversized laptop that I decided to leave it home on my birthday trip to Miami. My biggest fear was that the TSA agent would call me out because it would not fit inside of a bin. In an effort to make my departure uneventful I left it home and forgoed tweeting and blogging about my trip. Silly I know, what can I say we definitely live for our techie gadgets.

Please help me move into a new world of technology! I really do need a sleeker model with flexibility. What do you think?- yes this is really an oversized screen.

In my new world of getting organized. I would love to have the ability to shift between writing my blog posts, tweeting, creating a household folder quickly using this compact tool. I would love to own a laptop that is lightweight and robust enough to fit into a sturdy tote bag when I travel or when I need to transport it from one room to another. As a busy mom of two I am always on the move!
