Beauty: 2 Strand Twists for Natural Hair

After going to Duafe Holistic Hair Care and paying $55 for 2 strand twists, I decided to try the style 6 weeks ago. It is a style that requires patience and the right products. I am a huge fan of natural hair care products especially sulfate free shampoos.

This was my first time using Jane Carter Solution products and will add to my list of favorite hair care products. I used the following products: 1) Moisture Nourishing Shampoo 2)Nutrient Replenishing Conditioner 3)Twist& Lock products

I learned how to do 2 strand twists by studying the hair stylist, viewing videos on YouTube(thanks Darcel at TheMahoghanyWay for this tip) and practice, practice! My daughter's 2 strand twists last 2-3 weeks. It takes me 2 hours since I like to do smaller twists. The style is very versatile and a huge time-saver. You can wear the twists down with a headband or up in ponytails. For natural hair it puts little stress on the hair and makes styling super easy. You can change up hair accessories and go!

This is a great "how to" video!

She is too cute! Love her hair. I put twist in the girls hair a while ago. I wanted to try it to see how long it would take me. I used olive oil and gel. They lasted about 3 days. I can't wait to have the right products and see how long they last then.

Thanks for the link love :)

I like it and she is a cutie.

I'm looking for products also for my daughter and I like Carol's Daughter Hair Milk but I use it as a miosturizer. I have also gone back "old school" with Johnson's Ultra Sheen Gro Natural and Extra Dry which are working great and growing her hair. I also use Suave 2-N-1 Smoothers shampoo which gives her hair a soft feel and gives her natural curl smoothness.
